Alison McKleroy, M.A.
Hi! I’m a facilitator | author | speaker with nearly twenty years of experience as a therapist, bringing a wealth of clinical education, training, and expertise to my work.
Now focused on guiding people to heal, grow, and rekindle their inner light through creative psychedelic integration, I draw deeply on my background as a therapist to provide a unique and informed approach.
I am deeply inspired by the wisdom and practices of Indigenous cultures that have stewarded sacred plant medicines for generations. I approach this work with profound respect and humility, recognizing the privilege of learning from these traditions. My work seeks to honor these ancient practices by promoting ethical, informed, and integrative approaches to modern psychedelic use, while acknowledging the historical and ongoing contributions of Indigenous peoples to this field.
With over 30 years as a psychedelic explorer, I’ve experienced my own profound healing and transformation, which informs my deeply integrative approach.
My training and certifications include:
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Equipping people with tools to untangle self-defeating thought patterns.
Somatic Therapy and Therapeutic Yoga: Using embodied techniques to help release stress and trauma, and support a balanced nervous system.
Art Therapy: Holding a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy, I integrate the creative process as a powerful medium for healing, insight, and the rediscovery of joy and flow.
I’m also an artist and the author of two books. I’ve been featured as an expert in mental health in TIME, The Guardian, Forbes, Vogue, DailyOM, Verywell Mind, Well+ Good, Today, and more…
Having traveled to over 25 countries and lived on five continents, I bring a rich, multicultural perspective to my practice, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds in four languages.
